Perran Tennis Teams come into form together
Following a somewhat stuttering start the ladies from Perranporth have now firmly got to grips with the league. Winning four matches in a row Perran have started to climb the league. Representing Perran Tennis Sarah Morrison (captain), Molly Leverton, Niki and Charlotte Littler, Paula Bright, Lucy Rimmer, Melissa Turnbull, Pippa Matta, Caroline Finlayson, Sheona Burns and Kim Gosling-Brown have all contributed to the success of the team. It is teamwork at Perran as one can see by the large number of players used.
Not to be outdone the men have climbed to second place in the league with wins over Bodmin, Redruth, St Agnes and Veryan. Representing Perran Chris Legg, James Betty, Will Duffin, Lee Gilman, Martin Marney and Harry Lampier have all contributed. As Perran captain Steve Hawken has been unable to play due to injury this shows the strength in depth gained since last year. With just a few matches left Perran hope to run St Austell close for the top spot this year.
