Perran Tennis gives a voice to their juniors!

Perran Tennis Junior Committee held their first meeting ever last Thursday. Members were elected and officers appointed. Naomi Hart was elected as Hon Secretary, Rebe Winn and Amani Hart as joint Social Secretaries. Perran Tennis Junior Committee consist of two adult leaders – Steve luck (Chairman) and Dave Pell (President), together with junior members; Naomi Hart (Hon Sec), Amani Hart (Social Sec), Rebe Winn (Social Sec), Oliver Walker, Harry Lampier, Rowan Payne and Georgia Wildgoose.

At this first meeting the juniors decided on a match programme for next year, a new look summer social to include a presentation evening, a new playing kit, a proposed short break to play tennis outside the county. It was also agreed to include an Under 18 section to the club championships and a new winter hard court competition.

In these new exciting times at Perran Tennis attracting more teenagers was discussed. Any junior aged 11 to 18 who wants to join a vibrant forward thinking club is most welcome. For more information contact Steve Luck on 07860 446209.
