Perran Tennis Juniors Max, Evan & Ollie Shine For Cornwall
Max Vyan, Evan Fleet & Ollie Mallett were selected to represent Cornwall this weekend in the under 11’s county cup at the Royal Wootton Bassett Tennis Club, Swindon.
They each played 3 singles and 3 doubles matches over the course of the weekend with many matches taking an hour or more to complete in both brutal heat and heavy rain.
Each player won three matches propelling Cornwall to third place out of the 6 counties competing.
How They Did
- Max: Max did brilliantly on debut for Cornwall winning 2 singles and 1 doubles with Ollie.
- Evan: Evan won 2 doubles matches (the second against the Dorset number 1 seeded pairing) and a singles match.
- Ollie: Ollie won 2 singles matches (one against the eventual winners Hampshire & IOW number two seed) and a doubles match with Max.
