Perran Tennis hold first Quorn Cup Comp

Twenty-two pairs of junior players with parents took to six mini red ball courts today in lovely March sunshine. The younger children played in two groups – Murray and Djokovic, the older children and parents also in two groups – Nadal and Federer.

It was an introduction to competition for sixty percent of the minis.


The winner of Federer group Stuart and Aidan defeated the runners-up of the Nadal group Tom and Annabelle 10.8
Runners-up in Federer Albie and Ian beat Nadal winners Ellie and Simon 10.5

Murray group winners Oliver and Jon narrowly won against Djokovic runners-up Alice and Sammie 10.8
Murray runners-up Rachel and Finlay took the last place in the finals by beating Jane and Felix 10.1


In the older section Albie and Ian defeated Aidan and Stuart 10.5
The younger player’s final saw a close game. Rachel and Finlay narrowly defeated Oliver and Jon 10.9
