Perran Tennis Girls Easter Camp

Monday 14th, Wednesday 16th and Friday 17th April

Eight 9, 10 and 11 year old girls spent three mornings honing their skills on the new hard courts at Perran Tennis. Club Coach Steve Luck took the players through the major shots, looked at return and serve and discussed tactics. In mainly game based exercises the girls saw their tennis improve day by day. Using the full court and green balls various drills and mini tournaments were played out.

The three mornings saw the awarding of vouchers (bronze, silver and gold). At the end of the final day a winner was decided. Three girls tied for second place with 18 points – Laura James, Laura Heather and Amelie Harris, the overall medal winner was Katey Humphreys with twenty points. Amelie Harris was awarded the medal for most improved player.
