Perran Tennis Still Seek First Win!

Perran Tennis were playing at home in a local derby against St Agnes C on Saturday. Sancos and Xavier Boland, in their first league match went two sets down to David Whitworth and Stef Nahorski in the mens doubles.

Whilst Kate Coles and Sheona Burns played Mandy Hardman and Sue Fraser from St Agnes who likewise took their chances and secured two sets. With St Agnes looking in control the Perranporth team dug in and turned it around in the mixed legs. Both teams were at one set all and it was all to play for going into deciding tie breaks.

However St Agnes drew from their league experience and just came out on top taking both ties and securing a 10 points to 2 victory.

Perran Tennis play their next match away to Wadebridge at the weekend.
